So I just received a postal box and inside was the best surprise ever for this season….it was stuffed with Thanksgiving from my family! My mom put together all sorts of fun treats like candy corn/peanuts, candy pumpkins, leaves galore, autumn chocolates, and even pumpkin cookies (homemade, woohoo…they are delicious mom!)! Plus, Jamie put in some fun Christmas items (it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a little Christmas). There was a mini-tree with ornaments and lights to put together the day after Thanksgiving and a stocking, and batteries were included ;-)! My family usually tries to put up a tree the weekend after Thanksgiving, so the tradition will continue over here! PLUS (yes, there is more) Delanie had some original artwork pieces in the box…including (my personal favorite) a painting of the German flag!
Basically, I have been freaking out for the past 30 minutes with excitement while exploring the Turkey Day Box contents….there was always something more! Now, my Delanie Art is hung, the Christmas tree is fluffed (but not decorated!) and I’m working hard not to gorge myself on all the treats…trying to at least!
Thank-You so very much for the box! It has made my week, and Thanksgiving a true treat!
