Last night, some friends went out to eat as a farewell party for Yusuke. On Monday he goes back to Japan. We ate at Nanking, and the food was pretty good. It was a great time to relax, enjoy good food and drinks, and talk with Yusuke about his times in Germany! He will be missed!
This weekend I am traveling to Bielefeld to visit some distant relatives. A mother and daughter came to America back around 1996. Luckily, my grandparents still had their contact information, and I was able to get in touch with them and plan a weekend visit. It should be a fun time seeing them again, and learning more about our family connections!
