Yesterdaz Deidra and I made it into Munich and hit the ground running with this new city. We dropped our stuff off at the hotel and attended a 3 hour tour of Munich...seeing many cool things such as the famous Glockenspiele and learning a lot about the history of Munich. After the tour we headed over to a modern art museum and enjoyed some very creative pieces...but our favorites were those by Pablo Picasso! It was great to see some pieces, that we had only ever seen in books! After art, we checked out Europes biggest central park....the Englischer Garden, and then ended the evening at the famous beer hall Hofbräuhaus for drinks and dinner.
Today we traveled to Füssen to see the beautiful castle of Neuschwanstein, built by King Ludwig II. It was about a two hour train rain outside of Munich....but totally worth it! We just got back into the city, and are going to have a low-key relaxing evening....eating a Doner!
Tomorrow we head out around noon for Innsbruck, Austria.
We hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
